Pirates on the high seas have been hijacking ships for ages. Lately, there has been an influx of news coverage around the Somali pirates that have been on a rampage in recent months. The east coast of Africa the busiest shipping lane in the WORLD, used to provide inhabitants of Somalia with food and income. But a fisherman’ s paradise has been raided by foreign traders all from other countries. It’s now illegal for many of the Somali fisherman to fish for their own food. The outsiders draining the ocean of valuable resources. When your only allies are lawlessness, helplessness and poverty what options do you have?
